Hello Julia, I have just inherited from a huge roll of the Raoul Dufy “La Chasse” pattern fabric. It’s Romanex Boussac, Musée des arts décoratifs, Raoul Dufy. Before I start cutting it into pieces to do some secondary home furnishing, I would like to know wether it is a precious fabric and if there is a market for it. Thanks for any answer you’ll be able to give me.
Hi there Julia,
I’m just a passing fan of your blog. I think it is tremendous. I’m a 25 yr old digital-media artist who went an googled something only to come across your blog. I must plead a very severe kind of ignorance but thanks to your accessible style I have gone on to do a little self-education on some of the great artists you’ve mentioned. It has been an inspiration. Thank-you for being so passionate and generous with your time.
I came across your blog while searching for information on the dyeing techniques of Hiroyuki Shindo,
particularly the process you describe in your blog. Would you happen to have any more info on the ‘okkochi’ process, such as photos or dimensions of the wooden vat and stones? I would greatly appreciate your help! Thanks, Michael
