Dragon Codes

I just read a list of the most popular passwords (ie easily hacked) in the world and Dragon is one of them. Got me thinking about Dragons in the Chinese world.

Love this Dragon bowl at the National Gallery of Victoria. Here’s the tag:

This magnificent basin is decorated with the imperial symbols of dragon (emperor) and phoenix (empress) in the interior and the eight Buddhist symbols outside.

Chinese dragons symbolize special powers including control of water, rainfall, hurricanes, and floods. And also a symbol of power, strength, and good luck. It’s got the lot.
