Teresa Liano, Longchamp and Anya Hindmarch

I love the way Teresa Liano attached the metal chain from her Anya Hindmarch bag to her Longchamp pouch.

Works beautifully. A lovely little mix up of brands. The chain becomes the bridle.

I’d always thought Longchamp was a horsey brand – the horse taking flight seems to imply this. But it started as a leather pipe brand. When the war was over Mr Cassegrain moved to making men’s leather goods. He decided on the name because one of the last mills (Cassegrain) in Paris was right near the Longchamp racecourse.

Moonee Valley leather goods – that sort of thing.

They do make lovely leather things.
