The Dignified Pine Tree

Youth, longevity, and dignity. That’s one very symbolically laden Japanese pine tree.

Pines are also very sacred. All about trees and plants representing spirits.

The scent of a pine tree always evokes memories for me.

The National Gallery of Australia has this most beautiful screen. Here’s a detail. Exquisite wavy waves behind the pines.
