Yohji Yamamoto

Even though he sees himself as ‘non-denominational, without nationality’ – every fabric Yamamoto uses is specially created and made in Japan.

I love Yamamoto. This is such a spirited, aesthetically perfect image of his work.

We live in an age of fast and predictable fashion. But luckily there is still space for Yamamoto.
