Scarf Wear

The latest and last D&G runway show was an homage to the square scarf. Joyously upbeat for a final show.

Whimsical.

A history of scarf patterns. A catalogue of motifs. Butterflies, polka dots, crests, medallions, paisleys and border patterns. They covered the lot. Eye candy in all ways.

That’s what I like about this work. There is some meaning and reference to the art of pattern making.

Including scarf wrapped wedges.

I can see the party people of Europe snapping up these collectables.
