Looking back at these photomontages I made 20 years ago I’m reminded of European landscapes. They are probably European buildings or paintings as I was cutting and pasting from all sorts of magazines.
At the time I was thinking a lot about the foreground and background in a picture plane.
The architecture is there to stop the endless space.
