I’ve always liked typography.
When I posted this story on Bridget Riley, a reader pointed out the use of the Slab font in the Women’s Weekly article from 1979. There is a resurgence in the use of these big bold footed fonts on the web.
But I’ve never really liked serif fonts.
When I came across this poster campaign for Australia I thought beautiful Helvetica.

Photographer David Beal was born in 1936 and when he wasn’t taking shots for the Australian Tourist Commission when it was based in Melbourne, he worked for an interior design company documenting their work.
I like this ring thing.
