Robert Goodman, an American photographer, took this shot.

Goodman was in Australia taking photos for a wonderful book written by George Johnston called The Australians.

The shadows of the West are on the waters, the homing ferries are aslide on an effulgence of light, the terraced pinnacles of merchandise are aloof above a sheen of liquid colour.
